Jan-Sep, Jababeka Sales Fall to Rp1.65 Trillion
Jakarta - Sales of PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) at the end of the third quarter of 2021 posted sales and service revenues of Rp1.65 trillion, 9.65% lower than the same period last year of Rp1.82 trillion.
However, the decrease in a foreign exchange loss of Rp75.8 billion helped reduce the company's net loss to Rp179.23 billion from the previousRp266 billion.
Jababeka Corporate Secretary Muljadi Suganda said the decline in revenue was due to a decrease in the contribution from the property and land development segments.
"Revenue in this segment decreased by 35% to Rp644.5 billion in January - September 2021 from Rp997.5 billion in the same period last year," he said in a statement on Wednesday (10/11).
According to Muljadi, only land and house sales rose by 72.52% to Rp115.68 billion in January - September 2021. While sales of mature land fell 53.85% to Rp322.92 billion, sales of office space and shop houses fell by 2.64% to Rp69.15 bil
