Jakarta - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) recorded a decrease in profit attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period of around 17.29% to Rp1.215 trillion from Rp1,469 trillion in the same period last year.

The company's financial report released on Monday (10/31) showed that the drop in net income of around 8.31% to Rp16.517 trillion from Rp18.014 trillion led to a lower profit.

A decrease in the cost of revenue by around 3.79% to Rp13.856 trillion from Rp14.403 trillion curbed the revenue fall.

Selling expenses increased by about 17.56% to Rp376.409 billion from Rp320,179 billion. Net foreign exchange gain increased by about 4.98% to Rp50.539 billion from Rp48.140 billion.

The share of joint venture net proceeds also jumped by around 106% to Rp140.559 billion from Rp67.990 billion.
