Jakarta - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) recorded a profit growth for the year attributable to owners for the January-September period of around 8.49% to US$310.523 million from the same period last year of US$286.211 million.

The company's financial report on Monday (7/11) showed that a higher revenue of around 17.16% to US$2.641 billion from US$2.254 billion supported the profit's rise.

Operating profit increased by around 47.27% to US$480.168 million from US$326.024 million.

Foreign exchange gain increased by 3.53% to US$20,308 million from US$19.615 million. The company also reduced the financial burden by about 16.77% to uS$98.118 million from US$117.893 million.

The cost of revenue also swelled by around 12.12% to uS$2.034 billion from uS$1.814 billion.
