Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) recorded a decrease in profit attributable to owners by 99.75% to Rp425 million at the end of September this year from the same period last year, which reached Rp174.407 billion.

The company's financial report released on Wednesday (11/2) showed the low-profit achievement was due to an increase in the cost of revenue by around 46.53%, to Rp9.315 trillion from Rp6.357 trillion.

The final tax expense increased by approximately 55.21%, from Rp137.657 billion to Rp213.668 billion. The company also had to accept a foreign exchange loss of Rp 2.132 billion from the previous profit of Rp179.703 million.

Other income was down around 9.77% to Rp3.001 trillion from Rp3.326 trillion.

Financial expenses swelled by around 19.04% to Rp3.031 trillion from Rp2.546 trillion.
