Jakarta - PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) recorded in the current period a widening loss attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period of around 68.24% to Rp290.003 billion from Rp172.374 billion in the same period last year.

The company's financial report, released on Wednesday (11/2), showed the swelling loss was due to the high operating loss of around 747.06%, to Rp166.782 billion from Rp19.683 billion.

The cost of goods sold also swelled by around 7.56% to Rp4.363 trillion from Rp4.056 trillion.

However, MPPA managed to increase its net sales by around 8.06%, to Rp5.333 trillion from Rp4.935 trillion.

MPPA's total assets were Rp3.814 trillion as of September this year, with liabilities of Rp3.514 trillion and equity of Rp300.248 billion. 

Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period was Rp239.715 billion.
