Jakarta - PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) managed to reap a net profit for the current period attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period of Rp1.642 trillion from a loss in the same period last year of Rp441.722 billion.

The company's financial report released on Friday (11/11) showed a higher operating income of around 8.44% to Rp8.286 trillion from Rp7.641 trillion, boosting the company's ability to earn profits.

Operating expenses increased by around 2.80% to Rp7.850 trillion from Rp2.736 trillion.

Operating profit was able to soar by around 8,426% to Rp436.547 billion from Rp5.120 billion.

FREN also achieved a net other income of Rp971.916 billion from the previous burden of Rp597.841 billion.

FREN's total assets reached Rp45.389 trillion, with liabilities of Rp31.091 trillion and equity of Rp14.298 trillion. Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period was Rp372.165 b
