At the close of trading on Thursday (15/4), the Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) strengthened 29.22 points or 0.48% to 6,079.50.

Of all traded stocks, 231 stocks rose, 252 shares fell, and 160 stocks were stagnant.

The total volume of stock trading reached 15.49 billion shares with a value of Rp10.17 trillion.

All compact stock sectors strengthened, supporting the increase in the JCI. The biggest gainers were the plantation sector which rose 2.19%, the trading sector rose 1.01%, and the basic industrial sector rose 1.00%.

Among the LQ45 top gainers were PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) (8.39%), PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) (4.84%), PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) ( 4.23%).

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers included PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) (-2.71%), PT Mitra Keluarga Karya Sehat Tbk (MIKA) (-2.62%), PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) (-2.47%).
