JCI Closes Down 1.35% at 6,291 on Thursday
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading today, Thursday (4/3), closed down 85.95 points or 1.35% to 6,290.79.
154 stocks rose, 314 shares fell, and 162 stocks were stagnant. The total trading volume reached 27.54 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp14.04 trillion.
Only two sectors survived the green zone, the construction sector with an increase of 0.46% and the plantation sector, which rose 0.04%.
Meanwhile, eight other stock sectors were in the red zone, with the mining sector the weakest, which fell 2.87%, the financial sector was down 1.79%, and the infrastructure sector decreased 1.71%.
The shares included in the LQ45 top gainers were PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), which rose 4.27%, PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) was up 2.95%, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) increased 1.70%.
Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top losers were, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) which fell 6.75%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) dropped 6.67%, PT Mitra Keluarga Karya Sehat Tbk (MIKA ) was down 4.78%.
Foreign investors net sold of equities worth Rp17.70 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest foreign net sales were PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) at Rp75.8 billion, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) Rp52.9 billion, and PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) Rp40.6 billion.
The stocks with the largest foreign net purchase were PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT) Rp110 billion, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) Rp70.6 billion and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) Rp35.8 billion.
