JCI Closes Falling 0.58% to 6,553


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of trading on Monday (1/11), weakened 0.58% or 38.46 points to 6,552.89.

Two hundred sixty-eight stocks are rising, 255 stocks weakening, and 148 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 20.46 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp10.57 trillion.

Seven sectoral indices dragged the JCI to the area of weakness. As a result, only four sectors strengthened to close the market.

Meanwhile, the stocks included in the LQ45 top gainers were PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) which rose 3.01%. PT Pakuwo Jati Tbk (PWON) gained 2%. PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) climbed 1.45%.

Stocks among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG), which fell 4.08%. PT Paper Factory Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) slipped 2.99%. PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) declined 2.63%.
