JCI Closes Rising 1.02% to 6,481


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of trading on Friday (8/10), rose 1.02% or 65.37 points to 6,481.

There were 299 stocks rising, 209 stocks weakening, and 152 stocks stagnant. The total transaction volume reached 28.42 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp15.60 trillion.

The increase in the JCI was supported by ten sectoral indices. Only one sector was still in the red zone.

The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) which increased 6.20%. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) climbed 5.26%. PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) gained 4.65%.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) which fell 2.07%. PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) was down 1.45%. PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) slipped 0.74%.
