At the close of trading on Wednesday (31/3), the Jakarta Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) closed down 85.92 points or 1.42% to 5,985.52.

Of all traded stocks, 118 stocks rose, 396 shares fell, and 120 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock trading reached 14.42 billion shares with a total value of Rp12.16 trillion.

However, only one stock sector that survived the green zone was the infrastructure sector, which rose 0.28%.

Meanwhile, the other nine stock sectors are in the red zone. The stock sectors with the deepest weakness were the basic industrial sector which fell 2.76%, the financial sector declined 2.28%, and the miscellaneous industry sector was down 1.82%.
