JCI Falls 0.13% to 6,591.77


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), in the first trading session on Thursday (30/12), corrected 0.13% or 8,910 points to 6,591,77

One hundred eighty-one stocks rose, 315 stocks weakened, and 175 were unchanged. The total trading volume is 15.6 billion shares with a turnover of Rp 5.5 trillion.

Eight sectoral indices dragged the JCI. The three sectors that contributed the most were IDX-Energy 1.66%, IDX-Trans 1.10%, and IDX-Industry 1.04%.

The top gainers in the LQ45 among others were PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) which was up 1.08% to Rp11,750, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) gained 0.98% to Rp4,130, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) rose 0.74% to Rp4,110.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 top losers were PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) which fell 3.98% to Rp434, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) was down 3.67% to Rp20,350, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP)declined 3.10% to Rp7,825.
