In its trading today, the Jakarta Composite Index, on Friday (16/4), opened up 0.22% or 13.09 points to 6,092.59.

Seven sectoral indices strengthened and supported the JCI movement. The biggest increases in succession were the plantation, trade and service sectors, mining, and various industries.

Further strengthening was the infrastructure sector, construction sector, and financial sector.

Meanwhile, the other three sectors weakened, with the basic industrial sector posed the deepest decline, followed by the manufacturing sector and the consumer goods sector.
