JCI Opens 0.72 Percent Higher at 6,286


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading today, on Monday (1/3), rose 44.77 points or 0.72 percent to 6,286.

Of all traded stocks, 219 stocks rose, 61 stocks fell, and 159 stocks were unchanged. Market turnover reached Rp559 billion coming from 687.5 million shares traded.

Shares included in the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Bank Bumi Arta Tbk (BNBA) which rose 22.22 percent to Rp2,090, PT Bank Artha Graha Internasional Tbk (INPC) rose 12.63 percent to Rp214, and shares of PT Bank Capital Indonesia Tbk (READ) rose 10.13 percent to Rp870.

Meanwhile, stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Bank Net Indonesia Syariah Tbk (BANK), which fell 6.86 percent to Rp1,900, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) dropped 3.18 percent to Rp1,065, and shares of PT Bank Victoria International Tbk (BVIC) slid 3.10 percent to Rp250.
