JCI Opens Down 0.73% at 6,212.92
The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 45.65 points or 0.73% to 6,212.92 at the opening of trading today, on Tuesday (26/1)
The weakest ones were the plantation sector, various industries, finance, construction, and consumer goods sectors. A further weakness was the manufacturing sector, infrastructure sector, trade and services sector, mining sector, and basic industrial sector.
Several stocks in the LQ45 index were top gainers; PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) rose 0.51%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) gained 0.41%, PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) increased 0.38%.
Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top losers were PT Suraya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), down 4.66%, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) down 4.03%, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) fell 2.84%.
