JCI Opens Dwon 0.53% at 6,257 Today


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading today, Friday (5/3), fell 0.53% to 6,257.

Of the ten sectoral indices, only the financial sector strengthened 0.46%. Nine other sectors fell along with the JCI.

The mining sector fell the most, namely 2.56%, the trade and services sector lost 1.73%, the construction and property sector was down 1.15%, the basic industrial sector declined 1.02%.

While the stocks that entered the top gainers in LQ45 were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) which was up 1.71%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) gained 0.77%.

Meanwhile, the stocks among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) fell 5.56%, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) fell 5.43%, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) fell 3, 24%.

Foreign investors recorded a net-buy of Rp90 billion in all markets. The stocks with the largest net-buy by foreigners were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with Rp27.7 billion, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) Rp7 billion, and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) Rp5.2 billion.

The stocks with the largest foreign net sell or net-sale were PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) Rp8.1 billion, PT Transcoal Pacific Tbk (TCPI) Rp4.1 billion, and PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) Rp2.2 billion.
