JCI Opens Falling 0.43% to 6,012


The Jakarta Composite Index at the opening of trading today, on Wednesday (21/4), was corrected by 0.43% or 6,011,809.

There were 95 stocks rising, 190 stocks weakening and 155 stocks stagnating. Market turnover reached Rp473.8 billion from 836.7 million shares traded.

The LQ45 index fell 7.57 points or 0.84% to 894.98, the JII index fell 4.71 points or 0.79% to 589.07, the IDX30 index fell 4.13 points or 0.86% to 476.06.

All 10 sectoral indices are flushed. The selling action of foreign investors also dragged JCI. Foreign net sell this morning is around Rp199,200 billion.

Meanwhile, Asian stock markets also fell due to concerns over the resurgence of Coronavirus cases in several countries and raised doubts on the strength of global growth and demand for crude oil.
