JCI Opens Higher on IMF Global Economic Outlook


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) opened up 6.35 points or 0.1 percent to 6,146.52, on  Wednesday (27/1). 

The LQ45 index rose 3.94 points or 0.4% to 970.82, IDX 30 rose 2.36 points or 0.5% to 522.59, the JII index rose 2, 94 points or 0.5% to 639.49.

The positive sentiment came from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), which announced the outlook for global economic growth in 2021 of 5.5 percent. This prediction is 0.3 percent higher than the previous estimate made in October 2020.
