JCI Opens Up 0.90 Percent at 6,288


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading this morning, on Monday (22/2), rose 56.33 points or 0.90 percent at 6,288.

Of stocks in the composite, 194 stocks rose, 47 stocks fell, and 215 stocks were unchanged. Trade transactions reached Rp451.09 billion from 305.41 million shares traded.

The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) which increased 13.24 percent to Rp77, PT Itama Ranoraya Tbk (IRRA) rose  6.00 percent to Rp2,650, and PT Timah Tbk (TINS) increased 5.17 percent to Rp2,440.

Among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT MNC Land Tbk (KPIG), which fell 6.94 percent to Rp161, PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO) dropped 6.57 percent to Rp256, and PT Mahaka Media Tbk (ABBA) was down 6.25 percent at Rp75.
