Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on trading, Tuesday (8/2), opened higher by 25.23 points, or 0.39%, to 6,830.05.

Two hundred thirty stocks rose, 60 stocks weakened, and 209 stocks remained unchanged. The total trading volume of shares reached 930.79 million, with a total turnover of Rp705.54 billion.

All compact sectoral indexes strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. The sectoral index with the largest gains was the Financial Sector IDX, which rose 1.01%. The Non-Primary Consumer Goods Sector IDX gained 0.71%, and the Industrial Sector IDX increased 0.66%.
