JCI Seen to Fall Today

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) today, Monday (8/3), is expected to weaken.

Artha Sekuritas analyst Dennies Christoper Jordan predicts that JCI will weaken with support 1 at 6,233 levels, support 2 at 6,208, resistance 1 at 6,295, and resistance 2 at 6,332.

"Technically, the Stochastic indicator is moving wide forming a dead cross which indicates the potential weakness will continue," he said in his research.

Fundamentally, concerns over the increase in US bond yields will likely overshadow the JCI movement.

"Investors will also pay close attention to several economic data at the beginning of the week, including China's foreign exchange reserves and trade balance," said Dennies.

For trading on Monday (8/3), Dennies advised investors to pay close attention to shares of RALS, BBTN, BJTM, and JPFA.
