Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel  Tbk through its subsidiary, PT Krakatau Baja Konstruksi, recorded an increasing performance.

"We run a transformation program on all fronts, down to the Krakatau Steel subsidiary. This effort has succeeded in improving the performance of Krakatau Steel Construction with the achievement of consolidated profits for the Subholding Steel Construction reaching Rp122 billion until the period of September 2021," said Director of Krakatau Steel Silmy Karim in a statement on Thursday (7/10).

According to Silmy, Krakatau's steel construction revenue increased 62.5% to Rp3.9 trillion as of September 2021 from the previous Rp2.4 trillion in the same period in 2020.

"Even during the pandemic, the overall performance of Krakatau Steel Construction has increased," he explained.
