Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk has confirmed that it will supply 1.5 million tons of steel after signing the Long Term Supply Agreement (LTSA) with its customers.

"We have locked sales through LTSA to reach 1.5 million tons per year, we believe this will help increase Krakatau Steel's revenue with a projected revenue of up to US$1.4 billion in 2022," said Commercial Director Melati Sarnita on Thursday ( 23/12).

He added that Krakatau Steel changed the sales method, which was originally spotted sales, into a long-term contract commitment so that it would ensure the continuity of the company's operations and business because it could increase company sales.

"In addition to long-term contracts, market opportunities are also still open in terms of state infrastructure projects, retail markets, to exports. In this way, we are optimistic that Krakatau Steel will record a brilliant sales performance in 2022," he added.
