Krakatau Steel Plans to Pay off US$200 Million Debt in 2021


Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel Tbk plans to pay debts of US$200 million or around Rp2.9 trillion by the end of this year.

"We are optimistic to achieve even better performance in the future. Furthermore, by the end of 2021, we plan to pay a debt of US$200 million or around Rp2.9 trillion," said KS President Director Silmy Karim through a press release on Thursday (28/10).

He continued, KS has paid the bank debt of Rp444.7 billion after the restructuring. This bank loan consists of Tranche A debt as a result of the debt restructuring agreement with KS amounting to Rp258 billion and debt installments to Commerzbank of Rp186.7 billion.
