Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel Tbk until the third quarter of 2021 recorded a net profit of Rp853 billion.

"The profits obtained by Krakatau Steel are supported by increased sales, increased efficiency and the contribution of subsidiaries which are the result of a comprehensive transformation in the Krakatau Steel Group," said Krakatau Steel President Director Silmy Karim on Monday (1/11).

He explained, in terms of volume, sales of the main steel products, namely Hot Rolled Coil and Cold Rolled Coil, as well as steel pipe products, long products, and steel plates, increased 26.9% to 1,592,282 tons compared to the same period in 2020 of 1,162,532 tons.
