Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel Tbk plans to supply products to PT Pertamina Lubricants.

"The product that we will supply in this collaboration is a Cold Rolled Coil (CRC) product as a drum-making material for the production needs of PT Pertamina Lubricants as much as 85,000-100,000 oil drums per month for a period of up to 3 years," said Krakatau Steel President Director Silmy Karim in his statement on Friday (8/10).

Apart from being a raw material for drums, Krakatau Steel's CRC products can be used for automotive raw materials, Galvanized sheets, Porcelain Enamelware, and pipes and tubes.

Krakatau Steel, until September 2021, has produced CRC steel of up to 400,000 tons, an increase of 56% from production in the same period last year of 225,729 tons.

He announced that Krakatau Steel's CRC production could reach 615,000 tons this year to fulfill a 20% market share for domestic CRC products in Indonesia.
