Jakarta - PT Krakatau Steel Tbk has established the Krakatau Steel Construction Subholding on August 31, 2021. This subholding consists of PT Krakatau Wajatama, PT KHI Pipe Industries, PT Krakatau National Resources, including PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia.

"This Krakatau Steel Construction Subholding is the second subholding after the Krakatau Infrastructure Facilities Subholding was previously formed in June 2021," explained KS President Director Silmy Karim through a press release on Monday (13/9).

He added that the purpose of establishing the Krakatau Steel Construction Subholding was to increase the company's value through the merger of subsidiaries, optimizing performance with several initiatives such as efficiency programs, operational excellence, digitization, strengthening market share through downstream strategies, and building better business models.
