Jakarta - PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) reported a profit attributable to owners of US$933.49 million in 2021, an increase of approximately 535.34% over the same period the previous year of US$146.92 million.

According to the financial report released on Monday (7/4), a 57.53% increase in operating income to US$3.99 billion from US$2.53 billion supported the rise in profit.

The company also managed to pocket a share of the joint venture's net profit of US$7.30 million from a loss of US$9.01 million.

Along with the increase in revenue, the cost of revenue also increased by around 13.48% to US$2.22 billion from US$1.95 billion.

The company's total assets were $7.58 billion as of the end of December 2021, with liabilities of $3.12 billion and equity of $4.45 billion.
