Jakarta - PT Apexindo Pratama Tbk (APEX) recorded a decrease in net profit for the year attributable to owners throughout 2021 by around 91.78% to US$3.656 million, compared to the previous year of US$44,509 million.

According to the company's financial report, released on Friday (4/8), the low-profit achievement was caused by the income tax burden, which amounted to US$3,426 million, reversing the previous benefit of US$594,148.

In addition, Apexindo had to accept a foreign exchange gain of US$556,843 from US$129,059.

Nonetheless, Apexindo increased its revenue by 18.96% to US$65.155 million from US$54,767 million.

Direct expenses also shrank by 15.61%, to US$41.737 million from US$49.461 million.

The financial burden also decreased about five times, to US$3.649 million from US$15,448 million.

As of the period ending December 2021, Apexindo's total assets were recorded at US$357,749 million with equity of US$131,22
