Austindo Nusantara Net Profit Surges in 2021
Jakarta - PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk (ANJT) recorded a net profit growth throughout 2021 of around 1,704% to US$39.7 million, compared to the previous year's only US$2.2 million.
According to the financial report released on Friday (3/18), the increased sales volume and average selling price (HJR) of CPO and palm kernel (PK) drove the soaring net profit.
CPO sales volume grew 11.6 percent to 268,289 tons from 240,315 tons, and PK sales volume increased 6.8% to 51,991 tons from 48,660 tons.
HJR CPO increased 38% to US$801 per metric ton (mt) from US$581 per mt, while HJR PK increased 67.2% to US$527 per mt.
Thus, EBITDA also strengthened by around 154.22% to US$87.2 million from US$34.2 million. As a result, the ebitda margin also increased from 20.9% to 32.7%.
The strengthening of sales volume and HJR boosted ANJT's revenue by around 62.6% to US$266.8 million. Palm oil sales contributed about 99% of total revenue or US$26
