Jakarta - PT Bank Mandiri Tbk achieved net profit growth of 61.7% in the second quarter of 2022 to Rp20.2 trillion compared to the same period last year of Rp12.501 trillion.

According to Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan, the increase in net profit was supported by improved profitability.

The realization of Bank Mandiri's credit growth grew 12.22% to Rp1,138 trillion. Corporate loans contributed the most, increasing 10.6% to Rp409 trillion from Rp369 trillion.

"Strengthening credit has boosted Bank Mandiri's total asset growth on a consolidated basis by around 13% to reach Rp1,786 trillion in the second quarter of this year," said Darmawan in an official statement on Friday (7/29).

With the credit growth, he is optimistic that Bank Mandiri can achieve a credit increase of more than 11% by the end of this year.
