Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, as of the third quarter of 2021, posted a net profit for the year attributable to entity owners of Rp19.25 trillion or growing 36.41% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp14.11 trillion.

The SOE lender's financial report published on Wednesday (27/10) showed an increase in net interest income and net premium income by around 26.87% to Rp72.43 trillion from Rp57.08 trillion supported the increase in net profit.

Until the period ending September 2021, the company's total assets on a consolidated basis reached Rp1,619 trillion, with liabilities of Rp1,339 trillion and equity of Rp 280.28 trillion.

Based on the financial ratios, allowance for impairment losses (CKPN) of financial assets to earning assets increased to 6.19% from 5.10%. Net NPL also rose from 0.78% to 0.86%, ROA and ROA grew respectively to 2.52% and 15.28%.
