PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF), in the first semester of 2021, posted a net profit of Rp1.49 trillion, up 7.9% compared to the same period last year of Rp1.38 trillion.

Kalbe Farma's Chief Financial Officer Bernadus Karmin Winata said the increase in performance was supported by business activities that began to improve in the last few months.

The government also projects that economic growth in the first semester of 2021 will reach 3.1-3.3%, increasing compared to the first quarter of 2021, which experienced a contraction.

"We will maintain growth by innovating through the provision of more affordable services and products that are needed by the Indonesian people," he said in a statement, Friday (30/7).

According to Bernadus, the company combines product portfolio management strategies, manages the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities, transforms the use of digital technology, and monitors other operational costs to mainta
