PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) posted a net profit growth throughout 2020 of around 27.8% to Rp268.75 billion compared to last year's Rp210.261 billion.

"The net profit growth achievement was supported by an increase in net income by 7.4% to Rp1.873 trillion at the end of December 2020 compared to the previous year's Rp1.744 trillion," said the President Director of Prodia Dewi Muliaty in a press release on Friday (12/3).

According to him, revenue from each customer segment also grew and contributed significantly to its revenue. The individual customer and doctor referral segments accounted for about 61.2%, and the third-party reference segment and corporate clients around 38.8%.

"2020 is a year full of challenges, including those of us who are in the health sector. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were still able to record net income growth, maintain cash flow and maintain Prodia's profitability performance while still prioritizing the safety, health, and safety of employees and customers, "he explained.

Throughout 2020, the number of inspections reached 14 million, and the number of visits reached 3.1 million. Esoteric tests' number of requests grew by 191.5% to 1.6 million tests, and esoteric tests' revenue also grew 131.8% to become Rp700.3 billion.

Prodia's total assets throughout 2020 reached Rp 2,232 trillion, consisting of current assets of Rp 1,360 trillion and non-current assets to Rp 872.04 billion. Total equity increased to Rp1.788 trillion and liabilities to Rp443.75 billion.

Accumulatively, Prodia recorded a surplus of net cash flow from operating activities last year to Rp434.63 billion, increasing from Rp341.83 billion in the previous year. The net cash flow account from operating activities increased, thanks to the rise in cash receipts from customers by 6.6% to Rp1.879 trillion in 2020.
