Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk as of January-September 2021, posted a net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp104.94 billion or a growth of 109.03% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp50.19 billion.

The company financial report published on Monday (3/1) showed the company surge in net profit was supported by an increase in net income of around 12.17% to Rp11.64 trillion from Rp10.38 trillion.

The company also recorded a 49.97% growth in the profit share of joint venture entities to Rp514.27 billion from Rp342.9 billion.

The cost of funding was also successfully reduced by around 25.16%, from Rp960.31 billion to Rp718.68 billion.

As for the end of September 2021, the company's total assets reached Rp69.50 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period of Rp6.02 trillion.
