Harum Energy Net Profit Falls 53% YoY in First Semester to US$10.35 Million


PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM), as of semester I-2021, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent company of US$10.35 million, down 52.77% from the same period last year of US$21.92 million.

The financial report published Monday (2/8), the low-profit achievement was triggered by a significant decline in financial income or more than five times to US$492,909 from the previous US$2.19 million.

In addition, other expenses and financial expenses also jumped by 226.674% to US$11.01 million from US$4,859 and 304.82% to US$1.14 million from US$560,428, respectively.

Harum Energy also has to bear the low achievement of other revenues of around 85.47% or from US$13.30 million to US$1.93 million.

Nevertheless, HRUM was still able to increase revenue during the first half of this year by around 8.46% to US$115.72 million from US$102.54 million.
