Jakarta - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), until the first semester of 2022, posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of US$238.56 million, an increase of about 21.40% compared to the same period the previous year of US$196.50 million.

In the financial report released Monday (9/26), the increase in profit was supported by high revenue of around 18.85% to US$1.74 billion from US$1.46 billion.

The company also managed to increase its profit on foreign exchange by around 80.29%, to US$23.47 million from US$13.01 million.

However, the cost of revenue increased by around 11.77 percent to US$1.31 billion from US$1.18 billion.

As of the first semester of this year, PGAS's total assets reached US$7.23 billion with liabilities of US$3.90 billion and equity of US$3.33 billion.
