Jakarta - PT Pupuk Indonesia Tbk recorded profit growth for the year attributable to owners throughout 2021 of around 127.68%, reaching Rp5.321 trillion compared to the previous year of Rp2.337 trillion.

The company's financial report released on Monday (4/25) showed that the surge in profit was driven by an increase in operating profit of around 71.90% to Rp9.979 trillion from Rp5.805 trillion. One of the supports is the company's success in pocketing other income of Rp150.180 billion from the previous burden of Rp105.342 billion.

Sales and other operating revenues also increased by around 9.35%, reaching Rp78.603 trillion from Rp71.877 trillion. However, the cost of revenue increased by about 4.46%, from Rp. 63.469 trillion to Rp60.755 trillion.

Pupuk Indonesia also managed to reduce the pace of financial costs by around 31.19%, to Rp2,047 trillion from Rp2,975 trillion.
