Jakarta - PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, as of January-September 2021, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of Rp18.87 trillion, an increase of around 13.14% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp16.67 trillion.

According to the financial report released on Wednesday (24/11), the operating profit of around 9.96% higher to Rp36.30 trillion from Rp33.01 trillion, largely supported the net profit.

One of the pillars of operating profit growth is Telkom's success in achieving a foreign exchange gain of Rp43 billion from the previous loss of Rp2 billion. In addition, other income also increased by 10.53% to Rp514 billion from Rp465 billion.

Revenue also increased by 6.10% to Rp106.04 trillion from Rp99.94 trillion.

Meanwhile, Telkom's total assets were at Rp246.5 trillion as of the end of September 2021, with liabilities of Rp127.687 trillion and equity of Rp118.813 trillion.
