Jakarta - PT Temas Tbk (TMAS) recorded a profit growth for the year attributable to owners in the first semester of 2022 of around 110.03% to Rp659.832 billion, from the same period last year of Rp314.147 billion.

According to the company's financial report released on Tuesday (7/26), higher net service revenues of around 51.27% to Rp2.322 trillion from Rp1.535 trillion supported the surge in profit.

Operating profit also rose around 44.70% to Rp737.451 billion from Rp509.630 billion. One of the supporters is the low operating expenses of about 11.61% to Rp81.199 billion from Rp91.867 billion.

Temas also pocketed a foreign exchange gain of Rp40 billion, swinging from a previous loss of Rp17.863 billion. As a result, financial income jumped almost nine times, to Rp1.979 billion from Rp293 million.

Along with strengthening net service revenues, net service expenses also increased by around 21.62% to Rp1.513 trillion from Rp1.244 trillion.
