Jakarta - PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), until the first quarter of 2022, recorded a 53.48% decrease in profit for the year to Rp139.09 billion compared to the same period the previous year of Rp320,513 billion.

The financial report released Wednesday (5/11) showed that higher expenses of around 12.82% to Rp5.99 trillion from Rp5.31 trillion triggered the decline in profit.

Financial income also decreased by 24.49% to Rp17.73 billion from Rp23.48 billion.

However, the company increased its operating income by around 7.92% to Rp6.74 trillion from Rp6.24 trillion.

As of March 2022, the company's total assets were at Rp71.84 trillion with equity of Rp20.23 trillion and Rp51 trillion.
