The Indonesian Stock Exchange Authority temporarily suspended PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk (RMBA) shares in the first trading session on Friday (6/8).

This was done in connection with RMBA's plan to change the status of a publicly listed company to a private company (go private) and to delist its shares from the IDX (delisting).

The company can realize the new plan after obtaining approval from shareholders and completing the tender offer process.

"The company has submitted an application to the Exchange to temporarily stop trading RMBA shares. And the IDX announced the cessation of trading starting from session I on Friday (6/8)," said Faisal Saif in IDX information on Friday (6/8).

According to Faisal, this suspension will not have a material impact on the company's operational activities, financial condition, or business.
