Jakarta - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) offers coupons for sustainable bonds III phase I in 2022, ranging from 5-7.80%.

The company's brief prospectus published Wednesday (23/2) showed that the principal amount of the first phase bonds offered by MDKA is Rp3 trillion.

There are two series of these bonds: series A, worth Rp959 billion and having a 5% coupon and a tenor of 367 days, and series B, worth Rp2.041 trillion and having a coupon of 7.8% and a tenor of 3 years.

The issuance of these bonds is part of the program for sustainable bonds III MDKA with a target of raising funds of Rp9 trillion.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the bond issuance for around 49% for business growth or development. About 25% will be used by PT Bumi Suksesindo for payment of all principal debts, approximately 19% for payment of all outstanding principals of sustainable bonds III phase I 2021 series A, and the rest, 7%, for working capital.
