Jakarta - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, assessed that the financial system's stability in the third quarter of 2021 was in normal condition, in line with the decline in COVID-19 cases.

"The Minister of Finance, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority, and the Deposit Insurance Corporation agreed on a commitment to jointly strengthen the synergy of the four institutions in maintaining and supporting the momentum of economic recovery and continuing to be committed to maintaining financial system stability," Sri Mulyani said through a virtual press conference. Financial Sector Stability Committee (FSSC) on Wednesday (27/10).

He explained that the world's economic recovery continues, despite the risk of a new wave of COVID-19, as well as the risk of global supply disruptions.

The emergence of a new variant, namely Delta and changes in other variations, is a big risk factor amid the unequal distribution of vaccines worldwide.
