PT MNC Investama Tbk (BHIT) plans to increase capital by providing rights issues of up to 12.95 billion shares or 15.38% of the total issued capital and a private placement of around 778.04 million shares or 1.15%.

In the company's official publication, on Monday (31/5), all proceeds from the rights issue will be used as much as Rp2.12 trillion to convert some of the company's senior bonds into shares and the rest as the company's working capital.

Meanwhile, the private placement will help the company improve the capital and financial structure. The number of outstanding shares will increase to increase the company's stock trading liquidity, and the company can invite strategic investors interested in investing their capital in the company.
