Matahari Putra Expands Partnership with Tokopedia


PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) is expanding its partnership with Tokopedia, a technology company with a leading marketplace in Indonesia, with a total network of 95 virtual stores that are actively operating.

In a written statement, Wednesday (2/6), this strong partnership brings complete food and household products to the Tokopedia platform with more than 100 million monthly active users amid the Covid-19 situation and places MPPA as the largest food retail company in online platforms in Indonesia.

Starting with 23 outlets around Jabodetabek in early December 2020, MPPA and Tokopedia have expanded their partnership to 47 stores in April 2021, which grew to 82 stores in May 2021 and to date 95 stores.

MPPA will add more stores to the platform throughout 2021 to make this collaboration the strongest O2O partnership following the recent announcement of a mega-merger between Tokopedia and GoJek as a marketplace and consumer service based on decacorn te
