Jakarta - PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI) posted growth in current profit attributable to the parent entity during the January-September 2021 period of around 169.41% to Rp412.504 billion from the same period last year of Rp153.111 billion.

In the financial report released on Thursday (28/10), net sales increased by around 29.51% to Rp. 1.672 trillion from Rp. 1.291 trillion, supporting the increase in profit.

MLBI also obtained a value recovery gain on trade receivables amounting to Rp23,781 billion from a loss in the same period last year of up to Rp57,323 billion. Thus, operating profit more than doubled or from Rp229.571 billion to Rp566.321 billion.

However, operating expenses jumped 10.47% to Rp777.069 billion from Rp703.377 billion.

Until the period ending September 2021, MLBI's total assets were at Rp2.881 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period of Rp570.198 billion.
