Jakarta - PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) until the third quarter of 2021 posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the entity amounting to Rp156.09 billion, an increase compared to the same period in the previous year with a loss of Rp503.58 billion.

Based on the financial statements published on Monday (20/12), this increase was supported by the net profit of the associates of Rp106.85 billion from a loss of Rp203.60 billion. Other income also almost doubled to Rp128.83 billion from Rp62.96 billion.

The company also reduced operating expenses by around 14.20% to Rp1.39 trillion from Rp1.62 trillion. Financial expenses also decreased by around 14% to Rp484.57 billion from Rp563.85 billion.

However, net sales decreased by around 2.07% to Rp7.42 trillion from Rp7.57 trillion.
