Jakarta - PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) managed to get oversubscribed by 2.3 times from the company's Sustainable Bonds II phase I 2021 and Sustainable Sukuk Mudharabah II phase I 2021.

WIKA raised a total fund of Rp2.5 trillion from this offer, consisting of bonds of Rp1.75 trillion and sukuk of Rp750 billion.

"Through the bond funds obtained, WIKA is able to carry out debt profiling, where the company's short-term loans are converted into long-term loans so that the company's debt ratio remains in a healthy condition," said WIKA Finance Director Ade Wahyu in his statement on Friday (10/9).

WIKA also took this debt profiling step in line with the characteristics of WIKA's projects, the majority of which are multi-year projects.

In line with that, WIKA will use the funds obtained from the Sukuk for working capital for infrastructure and building projects according to sharia principles in the capital market.
