The Financial Services Authority OJK projects that fundraising in the capital market by the end of this year will be around Rp150-180 trillion.

"Until June 29, 2021, capital market fund raising has reached Rp67.8 trillion," said OJK Chairman Wimboh Santoso at the virtual Bisnis Indonesia Mid Year Economic Outlook event on Tuesday (6/7).

According to Wimboh, the fundraising in the capital market as of June 29, 2021, was sourced from 68 public offerings and the financial services sector contributed the majority.

"The number of investors in the capital market continued to rise to 5.37 million, which was dominated by retail-scale investors and still dominated by millennial investors.
